In 1998 Imex was created as part of a diversification of an existing business.
It was recognized that there was gap in the textile industry for a distributor of mesh fabrics and so began the business as it is today.
The business has expanded and continues to meet the needs of clients.
When a major distributor of components closed their doors Imex moved to fill the gap. In 2004, Imex introduced a range of components.
This range of products continues to grow and is now known as Victory Shade Products – VSP.
Imex has continued to develop as an innovative company that is responsive to the fabric Industry’s needs.
They are leaders in the industry for improved product design and technology while always being mindful of the needs of manufacturers.
Imex is an independent wholesaler of fabrics and hardware for the internal blinds and awnings industry and does not manufacture blinds.
This focus means that the Imex team understands the needs of customers and are trained to become product experts. They know the importance of quick turnaround times and product guarantees.
In 2010 Imex proudly released the Shade Elements Collection which includes quality internal and external fabrics.
